Eligibility Definition

All Previdence eligible nonprofit customers must be located or reside in the United States or it’s territories. Qualified nonprofit organizations are those entities that both have a charitable purpose or mission and are recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC).

Political entities, such as election campaigns or entities that support political parties or political party agendas are not eligible.

If a controversy exists as to an organization's eligibility, Previdence retains the right to determine in its sole discretion the eligibility of the organization for the specific transaction in question.

Public libraries not owned by government entities may qualify as an eligible nonprofit organization without charitable status. Please see our Education Eligibility: Public Libriaries criteria or contact Previdence sales for more information.
