O. Kent Allen, M.S.

Founder and President
Kent Allen is the founder of Previdence Corporation and oversees the clinic aspects of the company.

Mr. Allen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been in private practice since 1991. Prior to private practice, he worked for Weber County Drug and Alcohol as the Associate Director of Youth Services. He has been an adjunct professor at Weber State University. Mr. Allen is an accomplished speaker and facilitator with many years of experience dealing with behavioral risk.


Gary Dansie, B.S., M.Ed.

VP Business Development
Gary Dansie is a co-founder of Previdence and guides the business perspective of the Company.

Prior to joining Previdence, Mr. Dansie assisted many fortune 500 companies with the conceptualization and development of strategic products. He served as a Senior Director of Healthways and President/co-founder of DIGOP, a pioneer in the Internet industry and was a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner who specialized in building Web applications for the health care industry. His years of experience consulting in many industries adds a unique perspective to the Previdence Behavioral Risk Management System.


Dr. Rick D. Hawks, Ed.D

Chief Scientist
The Previdence Risk Concept was built upon the foundation of a paper-based concept developed by Dr. Rick D. Hawks in the early 1990s. The Risk Model has been used in daily practice as well as a forensic tool. He continues to oversee the clinical aspects of the Previdence Risk Model.

Dr. Hawks, is a licensed psychologist, author, consultant and national lecturer and trainer. His counseling, psychological testing and teaching in hospitals, correctional systems, mental health facilities, institutions of higher learning and private practice span over 25 years of service.


Ben Dansie, B.S.

VP, Technology & Operations
Ben Dansie oversees all product development, operations, implementation and technology and ensures that it delivers at high levels of performance, scalability and availability for Previdence Customers.

Mr. Dansie has been involved in the web industry since 1996 and has served in key management roles throughout his career. Prior to joining Previdence he spent three years as VP, Operations running day-to-day business operations for StayWell's software development arm which specialized in creating enterprise-class medical content delivery products. His earliest web experience was leading the web development group at DIGOP for eight years. His experience in web-based delivery of medical/health content and software is key to Previdence’s technology strategy.
